Group also announces $1 million investment in EV trucks and facility upgrades.
The Kenworth T680E, first-ever zero-emission, Class 8 battery-electric truck, has arrived at All Roads Trucks in Rosedale, MD. It’s the first in Maryland and the first of its kind, designed for pickup, delivery and regional hauls with an estimated 150-mile operating range and 82,000-pound gross vehicle weight rating.
In conjunction with its arrival, All Roads Trucks announced it is making an over one million dollar investment in trucks and facility upgrades to support electric trucks in the market.
“All Roads Trucks is leading the way in bringing zero-emissions commercial truck solutions to our customers,” added Wendy Nieberlein, Chief Financial Officer for All Roads and President of All Roads Kenworth. “Businesses looking to achieve their own green program objectives now have a partner who will support them.”
The T680E delivers up to 670 HP during peak performance, as well as 1,623 lb-ft of torque. Rapid charging is possible due to the CCS1 DC fast charger, which has a maximum rate of 120 kWh, giving the T680E an estimated 3.3-hour charging time.
In addition to the T680E, Kenworth now offers the K270E and the K370E, providing multiple options for local distribution, pickup and delivery, and last mile logistics in a zero-emission powertrain.
All Roads Trucks customers with questions about any battery electric vehicle or incentive program may visit for more information or to schedule an appointment.
