(Auto Equipment), a North Carolina-based distributor of towing and recovery equipment and the nation’s longest-running Miller Industries dealer. The business will operate as part of All Roads Trucks.
The acquisition strengthens All Roads’ presence in the commercial truck and towing industries while expanding its geographic footprint. Auto Equipment will complement the company’s existing towing and recovery operations, including West End Service, an award-winning Miller Industries distributor and President’s Club recipient, creating additional opportunities to serve customers with industry-leading equipment, parts, service, and support.
Founded in 1928 by Ralph Reavis, Auto Equipment sold its first wrecker the same year. Ralph’s son, Richard Reavis, later joined the company and played an important role in guiding its continued growth in the towing equipment industry. That legacy continued with Dick Reavis, the third generation of family leadership, who helped carry Auto Equipment’s reputation for industry expertise, customer commitment, and trusted partnership forward. Today, Auto Equipment is recognized as one of Miller Industries’ premier distributor partners and serves towing and recovery professionals throughout the region.
